This rod is a McFarland design using the same S & E glass blend as his GTX models and then painted with a gloss finish called Spring Green. Even though it is a big rod for heavy lines, it is still easy to cast. Handles both 7 and 8 weight lines with smooth casting feel with each.  Built with an ALPS anodized up-locking reel seat in gunsmoke gray - 1½" Fighting butt - 7½" FLOR grade cork grip in a modified RITZ design - 16 and 12mm stripping guides with bright ECO plated Snake Brand snake guides and an ALPS ceramic tip top.

Guide wraps are nylon - Epoxy finish protects thread work and decal areas.

Each ferrule pair has small white alignment dots for easier assembly. Total weight: 6.1 oz
